Our Open Farm Sunday

June 19th, 2012

Thanks to all who came along on Sunday to our farm tour and afternoon tea – over 60 young and old braved the showers and visited the fields of blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. We ended up at the house for strawberries & cream and tastings of BerryB and different strawberry varieties. I think ‘Jubilee’ stole the show, but there’s an ongoing vote at http://www.facebook.com/blairgowrieandrattray. The “Berries in Blair” display from the Local History Trust and One Voice office brought back memories for some to share with the young ones. The tea party raised £150 for Marie Curie Cancer Care – well done everyone and many thanks for all the positive comments!
